This comprehensive examination includes screening for any illnesses classified as communicable diseases of public health significance. During the exam, the doctor performs a thorough physical examination, an assessment involving blood tests and chest x-ray examinations to screen for tuberculosis, urine testing for gonorrhea, and blood testing for syphilis. They review vaccination records and administer the necessary vaccines. A complete I-693 Form, Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, is provided to you in a sealed envelope.
