Dr. Joseph Etienne

Joseph Etienne MD FACP is an exceptionally dedicated infectious disease consultant committed to delivering high-quality care to patients in South Florida. With over twenty years of experience, Dr. Etienne brings a comprehensive and compassionate approach to the management of a wide range of infectious conditions.

Dr. Etienne completed his medical training at the renowned University of Miami, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. He then pursued residency training in internal medicine at the University of Miami/HCA JFK and a fellowship in infectious diseases at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Etienne is board certified in infectious diseases, internal medicine demonstrating his extensive knowledge and expertise across multiple medical disciplines. He is fluent in French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish, allowing him to effectively communicate with and serve diverse patient populations.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Etienne has made significant contributions to the field through research, publications, and leadership roles. He has served as the Infection Control Chairman at multiple regional hospitals, where he implemented evidence-based best practices to enhance patient care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Etienne has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to serving underserved communities. He has actively participated in various volunteer initiatives, including community health fairs, providing medical services to migrant workers, and contributing to humanitarian efforts through Project Medishare.
